When I arrive to Manila, the Philippines. I was really surprise by the diversity and the diference with other buddhist South East Asia country. The catolicism was strong there, and the poeple culture wasn't strong as what I saw before. It was like if I had left the continent, a gathering of island cut off, where fast food and mall were dominated. I stayed a week in one of the biggest slum of the world in Manila, and I never feel unsafed. Men would walk with me to protect me, invite me to coq fight. The people of the philippines were the funniest people ever met.
