I got in Laos by the border north of the country where the Mekong form a natural broder between Thailand and Laos. This region is also known as the Golden Triangle for its hidden drugs fields. The poeple were pooer and working hard in the lands or river fishing. The jungle was very dense. The tourism was less kaotic than Thailand, the few adventurer tourist going to the North were concerned poeple. But the South of the country, had a new tourism attraction, a free circulation of all kind of drugs, the majority of the visitor were under 25 years old.

Laos is changing slowly towards a more developped country but it keeps all authenticity with its huge buddhist monk community and its communist governement.
